The transdisciplinary research group Augmented Ecospheres has presented a new prototypal work at Kulturhaus Helferei in Zürich. «Im Griess» is an interactive sonification featuring a group of custom kinematic instruments that evoke the soundscape of melting permafrost and bring the sound of the crumbling Alps into the exhibition space. The project is presented in the context of «Eroding Grounds» and has attracted over 1000 visitors in three days.
